Accredited by SACS (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools) and the prestigious NASM (National Association of Schools of Music), Florida College proudly offers degrees that are recognized throughout the world. As our alumni can tell you, a degree from Florida College means something to those looking to hire. We have former students, throughout the country, working as teachers, performers, composers and music therapists. Some are working in the music industry as sound engineers, recording engineers and band technical support.
One of the most important contributions provided by the Fine Arts Department is the opportunity for self-expression, either individually or with others. The stimulation and enjoyment derived from the arts springs from study, self-examination and criticism, discipline, knowledge of other disciplines that bear upon artistic interpretation, and a desire to achieve excellence.
